Mô tả công việc :

* Job overview:
• Managing quality from raw material delivery through to the export of finished garments in factories located within the Mekong Delta.
• Responsible for following and applying quality standards and procedures during production in all areas of the garment factory.
• Responsible for checking and resolving Technical problems in production.
• Responsible for checking Production and Pressing Samples.
* Major responsibilities:
• Working for a UK / EU Company Representative Office located in HCMC.
• Quality control of materials and garments in “Approved Factories”.
• Verifying factory fabric inspections and claims of raw material loss.
• Cut Panel and Input Inline inspections following the required standards.
• Daily Inspection, Input / Output and Work In Progress reports written in English.
• Solving cutting and production quality issues with factory QC / Technical staff.
• Checking factory samples before they are sent to the UK head office.
• Solving technical and pattern issues on development and in production.
• Monitoring the production on all lines and the status of all orders in each factory to update the Rep Office and QC Manager each work day.
• Monitoring packaging standards and the loading of finished goods into containers to ensure quality and compliance are maintained for delivery.
• Assisting the QC Manager and Garment QA Inspectors with the day to day quality control tasks.

Yêu cầu công việc :

* Competencies for success (skills):
• Minimum 10 years industry experience working as QC, QA or Garment Technician on women’s fashion clothing (both woven and knit fabric).
• Ability to check and solve technical and construction issues at machines on the sewing line during input to prevent rejected garments from coming off the line.
• Technical and pattern making skills, plus experience with managing fit samples and style development.
• Experience with fabric and trimming inspections, including a good understanding of the 10% inspection 4 point system and how to check colour, hand-feel, weight, shading and colourfastness.
• Communicating in spoken and written English - will be working and reporting directly to foreign managers and Rep Office Merchandisers.
• Stationed in the Mekong Delta during the work week.
• Working in factories from 8am – 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
• Flexible with travel, roving around factories and working hours.
* Important organisational relationships:
• Reporting on Raw Material inspections, Cutting and Inline inspections, Daily Production issues, Samples, plus input/output/pressing/packaging figures.
• Reporting to the QC Manager and the Vietnam Rep Office.
• Close working relationship with the Vietnam QC and Production teams.
• Close working relationship with factories.
