Responsibilities:
To initiate, lead and drive technical programs in energy markets involving application development and product innovation. Actively identify new product applications with customers through technical presentation and field application trials. Provide product/application training to distributors and end customers to ensure effective execution of product strategies.
Major duties:
• Collaborate closely with Business Team and global support team to identify the growth opportunities.
• Provide technical field support as well as technical marketing of 3M energy solutions to Power Utilities and industrial customers
• To lead application development activities around medium and high voltage cable accessories including product modification
• Assist and manage field trials and pre-qualification activities with key accounts
• Conduct failure analysis and postmortem of cable accessories
• Coordinate with external lab to conduct type testing
• Provide theoretical and hands-on product training to both internal and external customers on the latest 3M products and solutions
• Competitive analysis of 3M products and help establish 3M value propositions
• To be the industry expert, influencing engineering community specifically in energy sector through presentation, paper publication, involvement in professional bodies/committees, etc.

Yêu cầu công việc :

• A Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. Preferably with Power Engineering Specialization
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the power engineering sector. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in medium and high voltage cable accessories.
• Knowledge in Medium and high voltage distribution, transmission, switchgears and transformers will be an added advantage.
• Possess good analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Hands-on, self-driven, innovative and strong leadership attributes.
• Have own vehicle and driving license
