We are looking for a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to join our senior leadership team (SLT) in Vietnam. This role reports to the Vietnam General Manager as well as to O-I’s regional Supply Chain VP, and leads a sizable team across planning, procurement, logistics and warehouse functions.
This role will have the opportunity to develop and manage strategic and operational supply chain activities for the country, and will build a high performing team which can operate strategically, productively and cost effectively.
It is important that this role understands the dynamics of the market and continuously drives and facilitates best practice across the full-spectrum of supply chain functionalities. This role will monitor both long term and short term demand and capacity trends and ensure effective Sales & Operation Planning to support in-country production planning strategies. This role will also proactively lead the development of a sophisticated procurement strategy which optimizes the balances between strategic supplier relationships for key inputs, and effectively leverages O-I BJC Vietnam’s buying power for the balance. This role will also be highly engaged with the O-I Regional Supply Chain functions to maximise effectiveness.
In a nutshell, it is a pivotal role which can significantly impact all areas of business performance, leading to a total organization transformation in effectiveness from a process, people and system perspective.
Please note that this role is based at the plant located at My Xuan A, Ba Ria Vung Tau.

About you:
Ideally, you have tertiary qualifications in supply chain, together with solid end to end supply chain management experience, preferably in the FMCG industry or from a dynamic manufacturing environment.
You will have strong influencing and stakeholder management experience, talent development skills and be able to challenge the status quo. You will also need well-developed project management skills, ideally gained in a changing or evolving environment. Excel and SAP skills are highly desirable.
