Mô tả công việc :

VinFast (BEV) is now looking for a cost engineering or project management specialist in charge of cost engineering to generate cost targets for part piece price and tooling.
Improvement in current part costing and tooling by analysis, benchmarking and negotiations
Main responsibility:
- Calculation of design change cost.: Calculate cost estimate for design changes or modified and new parts using based on engineering inputs
- Generate Target cost for piece price and tooling for parts: Using Engineering data, knowledge, learnings, experience or benchmark data generate piece and tooling cost estimates based on samples, CAD or drawings using costing software or templates
- Cost improvement in supplier quote towards target levels: Review supplier quotes with Purchasing to identifiy opportunity for cost improvement. Support Purchasing in negotiations

Yêu cầu công việc :

1) Education/ Professional knowledge:
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree required, Masters Degree preferred.
2) Skill, Experience:
- 5+ years in transportation design, purchasing or cost management
- Comprehensive understanding of cost break downs from suppliers
- Skilled in the development of estimation construction parameters
- Expereince in working with different costing methodologies. (Should, Zero Based, Activity Based)
- Well development negotiaition skills
- Experience in vehicle teardowns and bench marking activites along with part localization
3) Other requirements (if need):
- Financal analysis skills
- Knowledge of competitive pricing
- Business case analysis
- Very good English language skills
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
