POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for applying engineering knowledge and talent with emphasis on internal/external customer support. There will be a requirement on displaying a fundamental understanding of mineral processing methods. The individual will be able to apply this technical knowledge to provide technical support in the form of information/tools/resources to Mill operations. The ongoing aim is to improve business effectiveness, reduce process variation and increase technical understanding of economic mineral extraction, which directly impacts the Companys quality, service, productivity and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review of the designated plant circuits operational performance parameters and setting of operational control strategies
- Generation and implementation of project improvements
- Daily and weekly metallurgical accounting, planning and performance reporting
- Ensuring compliance with all aspects of SHEC
- Analysis of circuit performance, generation and reporting of daily circuit KPIs
- Conduct circuit surveys for metallurgical performance assessment
- Assist on other circuits as required
- Sample submission to assay lab using required preparation protocols and documentation.
- Reagent consumption monitoring and management.
- Metlab testing including flotation tests, screening, gravity separations, slurry chemistry measurement and others.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Qualification
- University Graduate, major in Processing, Metallurgy, Chemical or relevant fields
Experience
- Required knowledge and understanding of mineral processing and extraction methods.
- 2 - 3 years of working experience in metallurgy field
