Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
• You are the environmental champion for Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar. You manage the interconnectivity, implementation and roll out of the environmental programme program in the supply chain for Indonesia and Philippines (and where needed in the Asia Pacific region); with immediate priority on all direct suppliers but eventually covering indirect suppliers as well.
• Work on strategic projects, activities and reports that achieve the goals (defined, assigned and updated biannually) defined in the SEA Global Targets in your key regions.
• Provide the expertise to the suppliers on many technical issues around energy, waste, water, chemical management and/or wastewater in the Global Supply Chain
• Support in pilot test roll out of key environmental strategic priorities (defined in the SEA Global Targets) in your key markets for the primary supply chain, both direct and indirect suppliers.
• Provide the capacity building and technical knowledge on issues around energy, waste, water, chemical management and/or wastewater.
Key Responsibilities:
General
• Keep updated on all environmental legislation in the countries falling under scope and report any updates and identify the areas of environmental risk within your regional coverage to adidas
• Provide recommendations in respect of those risks, based on legal obligations, strategic commitments and/or SEA requirements
• Input to and support the development of appropriate environmental and resource management strategies and sustainable manufacturing programmes (energy, waste, water, chemicals, wastewater) for suppliers in adidas material supply chain, engaging closely with relevant environmental and business experts
• Preparation of at least quarterly management reporting
• Ensure that reporting deadlines and that submissions into EMeReT, FFC, SAC, ZDHC and any other relevant programme systems are accurate, on-time and in the requested format.
• Delivering ad-hoc analysis upon request for enquiries and analysis requests
• Ensure alignment of programme across breadth of supply chain (between Divisions and Business Entities)
• Represent SEA environmental issues within the various divisions (FTW, A&G and APP) at regular meetings and town halls.
Environmental Programme & Tools:
• EMeReT
• HIGG FEM
• Align programme elements to adidas’s overarching environmental strategy
• Provide oversight to the team’s training of all nominated suppliers, both direct and indirect, on the scope of the environmental programme and the use of all relevant tools including but not limited to the audit tools, Environmental KPI, Strategic Compliance Plan (SCP) and Environmental Metrics Reporting Tool (EMeReT).
• Analyze the relevant Score Cards to track performance (i.e. EMeReT, GASA, FACT) of suppliers and relevant business entities to provide a clear summary on supplier performance and direction for future capacity building in the supply chain.
• Manage input into the annual supplier programme assessments (GASA & FACT)
• Identify training needs of supplier base to support the overall drive towards and development of a self-governing supply chain. Working with relevant team members, lead the development of relevant technical training modules and / or identify external training modules to support suppliers’ internal capability enhancement.
• Execute training to all suppliers on the use of EMeReT (dashboard) and drive accuracy of data that is reported by suppliers
• Deliver annual assessment report, including gap analysis and recommendations, for each supplier in the relevant and pre-specified product category and division.
• Ensure that all nominated suppliers on the Higg Index Environmental Facilities (Self Assessment) Module based on existing material and support the implementation process.

Yêu cầu công việc :

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong strategic skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good written and verbal English, any other regional (Asia Pacific) language is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, innovation, problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Collaborative partnership skills for working with various points of contact and teams in the department.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint and data management systems
• Able to work independently as well as in team setting.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• 4-6 years’ experience in the area(s) of Environmental /Chemical/ Energy / Waste/Water /Manufacturing
• Background in Engineering (Chemical / Process / Industrial / Environmental) and / or Manufacturing (Textile / Footwear)
Travel:
30-40%
