KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Business
- Develop, implement and manage the distribution of company brands in ‘The UNIT’ in order to ensure that the brands availability is maximized in line with brand strategies and the needs of the market by trade channel and outlet type.
- Plan & deliver ‘The UNIT’ sales plans & objectives in-line with North Region objectives. Implement national presence marketing and promotion programs with optimum use of resources and materials in order to achieve the highest in-store visibility and sales performance for the key strategic brands throughout the team’s area of responsibility by gaining the active support of the trade.
- Monitor & implement stock rotation policy to ensure stock availability & stock freshness in the UNIT
2. Leadership
- Keep Area Managers fully informed at all times of company’s visions, objectives, progress and future action plan in order that effective planning and in-market activities can be implemented.
- Manage the development of Area Managers, Supervisors, TMRs & DSRs within ‘The UNIT’.
- Manage an efficient and effective Trade Marketing team through on the job training, motivation and staff development to help achieve Superior Trade Marketing - Representation in comparison with our competitors.
- Identify potential candidates for succession planning and develop appropriate development plans for all the identified candidates.
3. Management
- Manage financial accounts and assets of The UNIT to ensure that Trade Marketing resources are secure and used in the most efficient and effective manner possible. Recommend, implement & monitor credit terms for trade within area to ensure the effectiveness uses of company’s resources.
- Recommend assessment of distributor performances of Son Dong Ha Noi branch & their S-Agents network to develop their capability and business standard.
- Provide trade marketing information and reports on performance and accounts to ensure that the Regional Manager and the brand marketing team are fully informed at all times.
4. Relationships
- Develop strong working relationships with key business partners (Distributor: Son Dong) and keep business relationship with others important partners involved with BAT business such as North Food Co, factories: Hai Phong Tobacco Company).
- Establish close working relationships with the trade at all level in order to gain high levels of trade support and loyalty whilst enhancing understanding of the trading environment. Build up relationships with local authorities / other FMCG counterparts to gain their supports, relevant business information & develop company reputation within local community.
5. Innovation
- Drive innovation in The UNIT work practices and approaches so that new ideas are encourage and captured to utilise full potential of the team.
