Summary: The U.S. Mission in Hanoi is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Realty Assistant in its General Services Office (GSO).
The work schedule for this position is:
• Full Time (40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within 90 days of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Duties: The incumbent of this position will keep track, draft and process all post leases, including residential and official lease space. He/she will be responsible for the payment of utilities bills and all home make ready preparations. The incumbent will keep track and process the payment for over 130 short-term leases. He/she will also be responsible for updating lease tracking system (RPA) and GSO housing regulations.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Education: College or University studies is required.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: At least two years’ experience in an operational/professional real estate environment is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be able to master all operational requirements for various GSO sub-sections.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level 3 (Good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required.
(This will be tested.)
Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing Vietnamese is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have strong computer background and the ability to create and maintain databases and spreadsheets. Must demonstrate exceptional time management skill.
Qualifications: All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.

The certification letter should be on letterhead of the appropriate military branch of the service and contain (1) the military service dates including the expected discharge or release date; and (2) the character of service.
