Mô tả công việc :

- Assists school Board of Principals for the purpose of supporting students in meeting the needs of English Language Learners.
- Coordinates language proficiency testing for the purpose of identifying students that qualify for English Language Development programs.
- Liaise with the Head of English Faculty to develops and implements the School ESL curriculum to meet the SAE requirements.
- Observes classroom instruction and provides professional feedback.
- Connects instruction and assessment through curriculum development and ongoing evaluation.
- Coordinates a variety of administrative activities (e.g. screening, interviewing, recommending, and/or orienting Vietnamese co-teachers; etc.) for the purpose of ensuring a positive learning environment and the efficient use of resources within the specified program area.
- Prepares a variety of reports and written materials (e.g. EAL/D plan, benchmark objectives, equipment inventory, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
- Work with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction.
- Coordinates day-to-day operations, including class scheduling and textbook ordering.
- Operate the School’s Interpreter/Translation Request system.

Yêu cầu công việc :

- Education: Masters Degree in TESOL or Masters in Education with a TESOL Certificate required
- Successful experience: Minimum five-year teaching experience required. Minimum two-year
experience in managing ESL Program.
- Excellent verbal, written in English and interpersonal skills, especially in the cross-cultural context and the ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Knowledge of curriculum design, development and instructional processes and strategies based on research in K-12
learning.
- Knowledge of professional development standards, methods and techniques and training procedures for teaching and learning
