Dai-chi Life Vietnam is the fast-growing, multi-channel market leader of local life insurance industry. A career in the Actuarial department will provide you an opportunity to be part of a young, dynamic and expanding team, who highly specializes in various areas of the actuarial works such as product development & pricing, capital & risk management, actuarial modelling and distribution initiatives.
We are seeking self-motivated and open-minded individuals, who are brave in the world of risk, to join us in making a difference.
We look for suitable candidates to join the following teams:
1. PRODUCT & PRICING
• Design the features and carry out the pricing of new products according to the agreed timeline and in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Prepare the approval documents to Product Committee, Regional office and regulatory authorities
• Participate in the product implementation process, including reviewing product documents and system testing.
• Liaise with external parties such as reinsurers, TPA in product-related matters
• Manage pricing models to perform profitability analysis
• Support agency and alternative distribution channels in new initiatives or partnerships
2. Valuation & Reinsurance
• Prepare internal and regulatory reports on key company financials, including but not limited to statutory valuation, capital management, regulatory reporting, and financial conditional report.
• Develop actuarial modeling using Prophet software to ensure that products or new regulations are promptly and accurately modeled
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial metrics, including the source of profit analysis, with clear explanations of deviations from expectations
• Actively participate in and support the improvement of reporting processes and methodology
• Provide support to the management of the company’s reinsurance portfolio
3. Risk Management & Special Projects
• Conduct in-depth analysis of actuarial risks (claim, expense, persistence, etc.) on a regular basis, to provide updates to the Risk Management Committee.
• Participate in business planning and business forecasting exercises
• Calculate the Embedded Value of the company and liaise with the auditors to prepare management reports
• Provide actuarial support on distribution initiatives, such as compensation scheme and contests
• Participate in special projects of the department as and when available

Yêu cầu công việc :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in life insurance
Less experienced individuals or fresh graduates as Bachelor of Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics or related fields might be considered.
• Good progress in actuarial qualifications
• Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Deep understanding of local life insurance market (e.g. products, regulations)
• Strong Excel, Access and relevant modeling skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
