Mô tả công việc :

We are seeking a talent with a strong background in machine learning and computer science (or related engineering fields) who has demonstrated practical experience to conduct research & development in the field of Data Analytics. The selected candidate will have a chance to work in a variety of business domains of Toshiba products & solutions in collaboration with other world-wide Toshiba R&D centers. The business domains include manufacturing processes (smart factory), social infrastructure systems & solutions (e.g., water plant system, disaster prevention system, traffic system …), retail solutions, etc.
• Technical responsibility
o Collect and process data
o Do exploratory data analysis (multivariate statistical analysis, clustering, visulization, etc.)
o Conduct statistical inference including statistical modeling
o Build prediction models using machine learning/deep learning techniques
o Report results/findings of analysis, tell story about data to customer
• Leader responsibility in Data Analytics team
o Be accountable for technical solutions and lead the team to solve technical issues during a given project.
o Be accountable for continuously discovering, evaluating and implementing new technologies
o Conduct recruitment interview, training & coaching junior members in the field of Data Analytics.
o Establish estimation, propose research & development plan with customer.
o Monitor and control project progress complying company process.

Yêu cầu công việc :

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mathematics.
• Master degree or higher at Data Mining, Machine Learning or other Data Science related fields is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as a researcher/ scientist in the area of Data Analytics, in which at least 1 year experience of technical supervision in Data Analytics is required.
Knowledge/Skills
• Solid knowledge at Probability and Statistics, Linear Algebra, Optimization, Numerical Computation
• Experience with different types of data, especially time series and categorical data.
• Experience with a variety of machine learning techniques for regression, clustering, pattern recognition, etc.
• Skillful at one of programming/scripting languages: Python, R, C/C++, Java etc.
• Skillful at manipulating data using SQL/DBMS (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, etc.)
• Familiar with big data/cloud technologies/distributed computing: e.g., MongoDB, Hadoop, AWS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, etc. is an advantage
• Demonstrated systematic skills/experiences in research methodology.
• Excellent interpersonal & English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Japanese language (N3 or higher) is an advantage.
