Job Overview:
• Reporting to the Assistant Logistics Manager in Hong Kong, the Logistics Officer role oversees the export operation in Vietnam and keep good liaison with Asia Logistics office and other functional leads in the area.
Job Responsibilities:
• Place booking to forwarders in designated window and pass on shipping orders to factories;
• Monitor goods & documents delivery from factories till on-board of ocean going vessel or aircraft;
• Monitor goods forwarding activities to ensure customer ship window is met without failure;
• Get transportation documents in time to support on-time sales document presentation;
• Conduct timely transactional posting in SAP to capture accurate sales and stock in system, especially month end;
• Handle daily logistics payment acquisition and report spend regularly;
• Get access to, interpret and report latest export customs formality and requirements to Logistics Asia office;
• Assist Logistics Asia office to manage forwarders’ performance and raise good work improvement suggestion if any;
• Assist Logistics Asia office in execution and follow-up of project that they may have;
• Pursue and compare quotes of forwarders in relation to Vietnam operation;
• KPI measurement and reporting
• Maintain and distribute SOP established with our nominated forwarders or operators there.

Yêu cầu công việc :

• College or University graduate of profession in logistics, supply chain or other related subjects;
• 3-5 years relevant work experience in export (especially US and EU market) trade.
• Possess good knowledge in Vietnam export customs formality;
• High sense of responsibility and urgency;
• Can withstand work pressure to meet deadlines;
• With pleasant character and can hang around with people of different levels;
• Willing to learn and grow;
• Good computer knowledge (e.g. words, excel, powerpoint);
• Positive thinker;
• Good at English skills;
• Good at Mandarin (Chinese) is preferable;
• Experience in SAP preferable
